SEBORRHEIC DERMATITIS, ROSACEA, COUPEROSE
Seborrheic dermatitis is an inflammatory skin disorder characterized by red skin patches covered in oily and yellowish squamae and various degrees of itchiness, mainly found in seborrheic skin areas with many active sebum glands.
Rosacea, also known as couperose, is an initially benign skin condition that causes chronic redness on the nose, cheeks and sometimes also on the chin and the forehead.
These symptoms are accompanied by a sensation of tingling, especially around the eyes. Small blood vessels, characteristic of varicosities, are often visible in the affected areas associated with telangectasia. These dermatological conditions are treated at the Avène Hydrotherapy Center.
